Project Hope Math Program Services

The New Hope Community Church will launch a comprehensive math tutoring program in the city of Coolidge. The Project Hope Summer Math Program will include certified teaching instruction to help students build math skills needed to get ahead. 


The mission of the New Hope Community Development Program is to motivate children to  enhance classroom instruction through educational resources that empower success in learning, building long term study habits that foster classroom improvements and skills to get ahead. 


As part of this program your student will:

        -Learn CORE Math Concepts for 5th – 9th grade 

        -Assess students’ level and need for math support

        -Help students improve their math calculation and reasoning skills

        -Prepare and mentor students for math success

Victoria Malone

  As an educator, I believe the purpose of education is; to mold and develop blossoming minds, to reach their highest potentials. I enjoy provided tutoring services to assist young minds in their educational journey. 


I have studied education for numerous years, I completed my degree at Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Secondary Education (Mathematics).  I have years of tutoring and coaching experience. I look forward to working with your child to help improve their math success.

The New Hope Community Church will launch a comprehensive reading tutoring program in the city of Coolidge, AZ helping student to develop reading literacy skills to get ahead.


As part of this program your student will:

· Learn CORE components of reading fluency 

· Identify key ideas and details 

· Reading comprehension and recall 

· Vocabulary use

Reading Program Instructor

Ruth J. Conrad

 Ruth J. Conrad is currently a certified K-8 teacher, who recently retired after teaching 6th Grade Science at Eloy Junior High School. She is a proud graduate of Grand Canyon University (Bachelor of Science in Applied Management) and Arizona State University (MEd). She completed her provisional endorsement in Gifted Education. Facilitating learning is her passion. While employed at Eloy Junior High, she established a reading program to get students excited about literacy and involved parental accountability in the home to document progress among the students. During her career, she created a “Reading Buddy” program with 6thGraders reading weekly with 2nd graders which was richly received at Santa Rosa Day School on the Tohono O’odham Nation. She remains actively engaged in teaching as a substitute teacher for SWING and ESI,LLC in Pinal County.
